This recognised treatment option alters the visible portion of your teeth, allowing them to appear shorter or longer, becoming more uniform and appealing overall and enhancing your smile through a minimal procedure.
Before treatment, local anaesthetic is used to numb the area being treated. Once we are certain that you are comfortable, we will reshape and recontour your gums, which will reveal more of your tooth enamel.
In the majority of cases, one session is sufficient for completing your treatment. We will place sutures post-treatment.
In some cases, we may need you to come back for a follow-up appointment approximately a week later. This is generally for more complex cases. Once the anaesthetic has worn off, you should feel some very mild discomfort, which will resolve in a few hours.
